How I handle the information you share with me.
Last updated: October 2026.
Who I am
This site is run by Turps Wood Design (James Turpin), The Old Coach House, Lostwithiel, Cornwall, PL22 0JN. You can reach me at turpswooddesign@gmail.com or 07977 441 624.
What I collect
When you send the commission form or contact me, I collect the details you give me: your name, email, phone number, postcode, what you're after, your message, and a photo of your garden if you choose to attach one. If you send a Workbench job ticket, I also get the options you chose. I only use these to reply to you and to provide the work you ask about.
How I use it
I use your information to reply to you, prepare quotes and carry out work you commission. I don't sell your data, and I don't share it with anyone except where it's strictly needed to deliver your order. Form submissions are stored securely by Cloudflare, who host this site, and sent on to my email.
How long I keep it
I keep enquiry and customer details only as long as needed for the work and for my legal and accounting obligations, then delete them.
Your rights
You can ask me what information I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Just get in touch. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Cookies
This site sets no cookies and runs no trackers. The Workbench remembers your design in the page address, and your job ticket in your own browser until you close the tab.
