Path of a piece.

From the first idea to the decades after. Made to order is simple. It just means the thing you get was made for you.

  1. Your idea

Call, email or send the form. A photo or a rough sketch helps, but a few sentences is plenty. It's a conversation, not a form-filling exercise.

  2. The drawing

I draw it up properly and send you an honest, itemised price. No obligation and no pressure.

  3. The build

Once you're happy, I build it by hand in the workshop in Lostwithiel. Heavy-duty tanalised timber, every joint done by me.

  4. Delivery

I bring it across Cornwall and set it up in place. It arrives ready to use, not flat-packed in your hallway.

  5. The decades after

I'll show you how to keep it at its best. And I'm on the end of the phone if you ever need me.

Questions.

Do you charge for a quote?

No. Quotes and design conversations are free and come with no obligation. You only commit once you're happy with the price and the plan.

How long will my piece take?

It depends on the build and how busy the workshop is. I'll always give you a realistic timing before you commit, and keep you posted.

Where do you deliver?

Across Cornwall. I deliver and set up in person, so your piece arrives ready to use.

Can I change a standard design?

Almost always. Size, finish and details can usually be adjusted. Tell me what you've got in mind and I'll let you know what's possible and what it would cost.

How do I pay?

We'll sort that when you order. Everything is agreed up front, so there are no surprises.

Got a piece in mind?

Tell me about it. I'll come back to you myself (usually the same day) with honest advice and a price.
